Seasonal EICMA launch for new Winter Edition Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Having captured both the 2015 rider and manufacturer titles in the World Superbike Championship, the Kawasaki Racing Team are now straight back to work embarking on a gruelling winter test schedule with riders Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes on-board the traditional black and white Ninja ZX-10R testing machines.
Now – due to public demand – Kawasaki has released a road bike based on the KRT closed season testing livery complete with Kawasaki Racing Team graphics and a sponsor partner road-legal Akrapovic carbon silencer as part of the stylish package. With availability concentrated on the early part of the 2016 sales season, the machines are sure to be sought out by Kawasaki racing fans across Europe.
Resplendent in their covert and purposeful winter testing livery, each machine will feature the by now familiar Kawasaki testing “snowflake” on the front cowl and the Japanese kanji “fuyu” character symbolising the word winter.
“For some years we have been asked if there will be a special “Winter Edition” of the Ninja ZX-10R”, commented Shigemi Tanaka of Kawasaki Motors Europe.
“Now seemed the perfect time with such success for Jonathan Rea and the racing team in the World Championship plus the launch of a brand new Ninja ZX-10R for 2016 that is the result of a joint development between KRT and the Kawasaki factory in Akashi. “
